Drill Teardown

For my sophomore engineering design class, I worked with two other students to create a full teardown of an electric drill, which composed of the physical tear down itself (shown in video below), a full CAD model in SolidWorks (shown in the slideshow), and an extensive writeup.

My main responsibilities included dissembling the chuck of the drill, creating CAD models of the planetary gearbox and the chuck, and creating a video explaining the physical process of breaking down the drill as well as the purpose of each component we found.
